Actress Krysta Rodriguez has reportedly exited the pilot for "How I Met Your Dad," the CBS project planned as a sequel to the departing "How I Met Your Mother," according to The Wrap
Rodriguez, last seen as Ana Vargas on NBC's series "Smash," was to portray fashion blogger Juliet, though that role had evolved since the table read, The Wrap said.

The show follows a similar design to its predecessor, except from a female point of view with new characters and a new story.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Rodriguez's spot in the pilot was recast with actress Tiya Sircar
taking the role. Sicar, who appeared in CBS' "The Crazy Ones," reportedly now will be the "sexy and flamboyant best friend."
"Frances Ha" actress Greta Gerwig, Drew Tarver, Nick D'Agosto, and Andrew Santino are also part of the cast.
"How I Met Your Mother" creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, along with Emily Spivey ("Up All Night"), are writing and executive producing the pilot, which was first announced in November
The original "How I Met Your Mother," which stars Josh Radnor, Neil Patrick Harris, Cobie Smulders, Jason Segel, and Alyson Hannigan, ends its nine-season run on March 31.
