Kit Harington of "Game of Thrones" and Andy Samberg of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" will star in an HBO tennis mockumentary about a week-long match at Wimbledon called "7 Days In Hell."

"Saturday Night Live's" Jake Szymanski will direct the cast of "7 Days In Hell," which will include Lena Dunham, Fred Armisen, Will Forte, Karen Gillam, Howie Mandel and former CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien as herself, according to

The Wrap reported that "Girls" writer and co-executive director Murray Miller will write the script. Harington plays Jon Snow in the rating giant "Game of Thrones" and also appeared in the movie "Pompeii" this year. Samberg, an SNL veteran, plays detective Jake Peralta in the Emmy-winning "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

The comedy would be a takeoff of the actual longest tennis match in history, which happened at Wimbledon in 2010, when John Isner defeated Nicolas Mahut over three days in a final set that went 70-68 and went on for 11 hours and five minutes, according to The Associated Press.

"Based on breakdowns I've seen, Samberg's Aaron Williams is tennis' superstar bad boy, while Brit Harington's Charles Poole is channeling Andy Murray, a tennis prodigy and certified truck driver," wrote Deadline's Nellie Andreeva. "Adding to their rivalry is Gillan's supermodel Lily, Charles' childhood friend who made a sex tape with Aaron. Steenburgen plays Charles' psychotic and controlling mother, while Forte plays a tennis historian."

Many on social media marveled at how HBO was able to gather so many stars for such a project.
