After rumors were confirmed about Kate Middleton's imminent makeover — ordered by Queen Elizabeth — details of her upcoming Australian tour with Prince William and baby Prince George have started to emerge.
Us Weekly reports that the Queen has given Middleton full access
to her private jewel collection. It has also been revealed that she will have over 30 dress changes during the three-week tour beginning this April.

"Although Kate won't be wearing tiaras on the tour, the Queen has given Kate total access to her private jewel collection so she can wear some exquisite pieces," a source told Us Weekly.
The unfettered access comes just weeks after Middleton went to a gala at the National Portrait Gallery in London with the Queen's diamond-drop necklace, which Vogue called "show-stopping."
Regarding the 30 dresses in three weeks, the source told Us Weekly, "A number of outfits she's wearing on the tour are off-the-rack pieces, however they're being tailored to her body shape. The Queen's dress maker, Angela Kelly, and her team have been involved in a lot of the wardrobe prep."
According to the International Business Times
, "the 32-year-old Catherine is expected to wear both store-bought and bespoke designer outfits by her favourite designers, including Alexander McQueen and Alice Temperley."
One can assume that no matter which designers make the cut, the dresses will follow mother-in-law Elizabeth's recent makeover comment
that the overall effect be 'subtle but significantly regal.'
In February, the monarch dispatched her personal dresser Angela Kelly to help hand-select pieces for Prince William's wife.
"The frilled, girlish frocks she likes have been outlawed in case they detract from the newly grown-up image she needs to project and also to prevent any wardrobe malfunctions — such as that at Calgary airport in Canada in 2011 when a gust of wind caught the skirt of the duchess’s short yellow dress and flashed her underwear to the world," the duchess' representative told the Daily Mail.
Middleton has also been making headlines this week as she has apparently been giving Cressida Bonas, Prince Harry's girlfriend, relationship advice.
A royal insider tells E! News
, "Kate's been brilliant with Cressida and has been giving her advice. She likes her very much and has offered her tips on how to keep her normality. Kate's been there and done it and, while she knows Cressida won't be as talked about and followed like she was, she needs to get a real slant on what happens."
