Kate Middleton is three months pregnant with a baby girl — at least if a recent Star Magazine report is to be believed.
A story in Star Magazine's March 3 issue claims that the Duchess of Cambridge
is nearing the end of the first trimester of her second pregnancy with Britain's Prince William.
Middleton, 32, gave birth to her first child, a son named George, in July.
The baby is third in line to the throne behind grandfather Prince Charles and father William.

"Little George is getting a sister, and Kate is absolutely thrilled," a source told Star. "She was really hoping the next child would be a girl, and having it confirmed has just given her the best start to the year. Kate and William are ecstatic!"
"Kate has been talking about it to a number of people — she isn’t trying to hide it. It’s so different from when she had George; she seems more at peace now, because she knows what to expect," the source continued.
According to Star's story, Middleton had genetic testing to find out the gender of the fetus in advance.
"William was ecstatic. He couldn’t stop hugging her," another insider told Star. "He was actually a little surprised, because he was convinced it would be a boy. In his head, he was expecting a brother for George, because he himself grew up with a little brother. But now that they know a girl is on the way, it has really affected him emotionally. He knows his mother, Princess Diana, would have been overjoyed."
This isn’t the first time the pregnancy rumor mill has churned out news of baby No. 2. Star ran a similar story in early January and the U.K. tabloids have also been campaigning for another royal baby for months.
