A gold "mommy" charm necklace, given to Kate Middleton as a gift from her sister Pippa, quickly sold out, with the manufacturer taking several weeks to get custom-made orders filled, according to E! News.
The necklace features a disc with Prince George's full name engraved, another heart-shaped charm with a "W" inscribed and a third charm depicting a baby boy. Kate Middleton was spotted wearing the necklace several months ago, which was a gift from Pippa Middleton from Merci Maman.
People magazine reported the hand-crafted necklace goes for about $150.
When Kate Middleton was photographed with the charm, demand for the piece skyrocketed within three days, with 25,000 website visits to e-boutique MerciMamanboutique.com
, according to Beatrice de Montille, its founder.

The necklace is now known as "The Duchess," de Montille told People.com.
"We created this for her and now we are selling the exact same necklace to everyone," de Montille said. "I couldn't think of a better ambassador. She is very chic."
De Montille said that Pippa Middleton is one of her business' regulars but did not know that the Duchess of Cambridge was wearing her necklace until she came across a blog with a photo of Kate Middleton wearing the necklace while out shopping in October.
De Montille said that the charm necklace's mix of high and low fashion has attracted many.
"I think that's what makes her very smart," de Montille said. "She is a mixture of elegance and simplicity and she is a very humble person. That's what makes her different and makes her a very accessible princess."
Today's Parent celebrity blogger Haley Overland wrote
that the balance enables Kate Middleton to connect with the public.
"I know this is the dorkiest thing to say and that, as a celebrity news blogger, I should never ever, ever say it, but she really is just like us," Overland wrote. "The Duchess of Cambridge — aka Kate Middleton — was recently spotted sporting a gorgeous new personalized necklace, and I think you'll want to see it because it's really sweet. Ready? Say it with me: Love!"
