Justin Bieber's Baby Mustache Creates New York Fashion Week Buzz

Apparently a little bit of mustache hair can go a long way for Justin Bieber, who created a buzz at the Y-3 show during New York Fashion Week Sunday with light, barely noticeable whiskers over his upper lip.

The 19-year-old singer also returned to his long, bangs-like hairstyle, reminiscent of his younger years before the tattoos and bad boy antics.

"Sitting front row at the Y-3 show during New York Fashion Week Sunday, Bieber’s swept bangs had onlookers nostalgic," the New York Daily News wrote.

Bieber's "hair was once universally known — was a luscious blowdried look. And he appeared to have had second thoughts about chopping it off as he recreated the look as he enjoyed the Y-3 show," the Daily Mail wrote.

Before Bieber showed up in New York, he reportedly attended a private screening of his new documentary "Believe" at the Toronto International Film Festival. The screening was held at the Cineplex in Toronto.

Bieber's handlers tried to keep the screening a secret for fears that it would be swamped by fans. The documentary, Billboard reported, is made up of a mix of concert footage and interviews about the pop star’s rise to fame.

The screening was meant to give marketers and the buyers who attended the showing an idea of how much another Bieber documentary, directed by Jon M. Chu, would draw at movie theaters.

Bieber's first documentary, "Never Say Never," also directed by Chu, brought in a gross of nearly $100 million after its 2011 release.

Talk about mustache hair and hairstyles were quite tame compared to the headlines Bieber has been drawing of late. Just last month model Wayne Rennalls, 22, claimed he was beaten up by Bieber and his bodyguards at a New York City area nightclub, according to news reports.

The model reportedly said he was planning on suing Bieber for work he lost with Worldwide Agency after the incident at the Southampton club.
