Vice President Joe Biden has put his foot in his mouth yet again, this time cracking a dirty joke during a meeting with actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus last week.

Louis-Dreyfus visited Washington, D.C., last week to promote her HBO show "Veep," in which she plays vice president Selina Meyer. The actress appeared on Conan O'Brien Thursday and detailed her meeting with the real-life VP.

"He's such a wonderful man," she said. "He's so affable and charming and it was incredible. He was trying to be funny. He says, 'Hey, does your husband like to sleep with the vice president because I'm trying to convince Jill it's a good idea.'"

"That's pretty racy," O'Brien said.

"It's racy but he didn’t mean it in a racy way," Louis-Dreyfus said. "He was just being funny."

The former "Seinfeld" star also shared a photo of the two riding in Biden's motorcade.

"At one point, I got a ride in his motorcade and I had my phone," she said. "So he took a picture of us. It's him taking it with my phone. It's a selfie. Isn't that neat?"

This isn’t the first time Biden had made some eyebrow-raising comments. During a fundraiser last week, he likened girls coming of age to "snakes in the bed."

"All you women out there: Daughters are wonderful. Granddaughters are better," He lamented, though, that they grow up.

"When they're 12 to 14, a dad puts his beautiful little daughter to bed. And then the next morning, there's a snake in the bed," Biden said, according to pool reporters.
