Jenny McCarthy makes her debut on "The View" Monday and to make her first day on the job a little more comfortable, the comedienne is bringing along her actor boyfriend Donnie Wahlberg.
McCarthy, 40, was announced as the newest co-host of "The View" back in July
, when rumors swirled about who would fill the vacancies left by Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar.
Behar announced her retirement in March
and Hasselbeck, who was the lone conservative voice on the panel, is moving to Fox to fill Gretchen Carlson's spot on "Fox & Friends."

McCarthy, a former Playboy centerfold-turned-autism activist and anti-vaccine advocate, had been a favorite to join the Barbara Walters-created daytime talk show alongside remaining co-hosts Walters, Sherri Shepherd, and Whoopi Goldberg.
"We love her because she's fun, she's uninhibited and she's opinionated enough to help us begin the latest chapter in 'The View' history," Walters said in July during the on-air announcement.
"The View" will also be tasked with filling Walters' spot next year. In May, she announced her retirement. Starting in May 2014, she will stay on as an executive producer of the show but will no longer appear on the panel.
"It has been an absolutely joyful, rewarding, challenging, fascinating, and occasionally bumpy ride and I wouldn't change a thing," Walters said of her 52-year television career. "I am perfectly healthy. This is my decision. I have been thinking about it for a long time and this is what I want to do."
Wahlberg, who got together with McCarthy earlier this summer, will be the first guest on Monday's Season 17 premiere of "The View," where he'll promote his CBS show "Blue Bloods." The musical guest will be Michael Buble, Us Magazine reported.
