because some of those in her party were black.
Garth, two white girlfriends, and three black men went to club DBA around 11:30 p.m. Monday night, according to E! Online
. The group bypassed the long line and approached the bouncers to go inside. But the security guards reportedly told Garth that she and her entourage would have to wait in line like everyone else.

A photographer told TMZ that Garth then got upset, telling the bouncer, "I'm 40 years old, I have three kids, I've been in the business for years."
A DBA spokesperson issued a statement about the incident to TMZ:
"DBA has a very strict door policy and Ms. Garth and her entire group of friends were asked to wait in line for entry along with everyone else," the statement read. "The group chose not to do so and left."
Garth later expressed her thoughts about the episode on Twitter.
