Ireland Baldwin, the daughter of actors Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, has a fledging modeling career – this month the 17-year-old appeared on the cover of Beach Modern Luxury.

Baldwin dons a white bikini and holds a surf board on the cover of the magazine. In an interview with Cristina Cuomo, Baldwin answers questions about a variety of topics, including her ambitions to build her modeling portfolio and study acting.

"I’m excited to work and study acting as well," the young Baldwin told Cuomo when asked what she was looking forward to in the next five years.

In an interview last week with Access Hollywood, Baldwin said she is embracing her mother’s advice to seek her own identity and not to feel insecure because of critics.

"My mom taught me to go on and have fun and avoid everyone else’s comments and avoid what people are going to say about you," Baldwin said. "As long as you’re the one that’s smiling and having a good time then you’re the one that’s gonna be successful."
