The iPhone 5s order wait time has now been significantly reduced to three to five business days less than five weeks from Christmas. It had previously been a one- to two-week wait when the iPhone 5s was first released in September
The reduced wait time appears to signify that Apple has replenished its iPhone 5s stock. There had been previous reports that the smartphone giant was having trouble keeping up with the demand for its iPhone 5s

In the first weekend alone, Apple sold 9 million iPhone 5s', Forbes Magazine reported
The strong sales report from the first weekend was encouraging to Apple’s CEO Tim Cook.
"This is our best iPhone launch yet ... a new record for first weekend sales," Cook said in a press release at the time. "The demand for the new iPhones has been incredible."
Apple unveiled the gold-anodized, aluminum-and-glass iPhone 5s back in September along with its other 5s models and the cheaper, colorful 5c option. The gold iPhone immediately sold out in China, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, as the U.S. wait list rapidly grew.
"One reason supplies of Apple's gold iPhone 5s are backed up is because the company has under-supplied the Asian desire for objects that are gold," Business Insider reported
. "While almost all countries and cultures prize gold over other metals and colors, or at least attach special significance to it, gold in Asia is perhaps even more fetishized than in the West."
