A hurricane relief concert will feature all five living U.S. presidents this month, the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation announced Wednesday.

The concert, which will be held at Texas A&M University's Reed Arena on Oct. 21, will be attended by former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter, CNN noted.

The concert, called "Deep From the Heart: The One America Appeal," will be emceed by country music star Lee Greenwood and feature entertainers Alabama, The Gatlin Brothers, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, Sam Moore, Yolanda Adams, Cassadee Pope, and Stephanie Quayle, CNN said.

The appearance at the concert was an outgrowth of the five presidents coming together to support relief and recovery efforts after Hurricane Harvey dropped record rain amounts on Texas, flooding numerous cities in Southeast Texas, including Houston, CNN said.

While the concert initially was aimed to only address the devastation of Hurricane Harvey, it has now expanded its scope to include Florida's recovery after Hurricane Irma and Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands' efforts after Hurricane Maria, NBC News reported.

Funds raised from the concert will go to the Houston Harvey Relief Fund, Rebuild Texas Fund, Florida Disaster Fund, Juntos y Unidos Por Puerto Rico and the Fund for the Virgin Islands, NBC News noted.

"It's important that those affected by these devastating storms know that, even if the path to recovery feels like a road that goes on forever, we're with them for the long haul," President George H. W. Bush, said, according to NBC News.

Jim McGrath, a spokesman for the Bush family, said the former presidents will appear on stage together, but the focus will be on the music, according to The Bryan Eagle.

"With too many Texans and others still reeling from this catastrophic hurricane season, 41 wanted to do something more than a dinner for the Bush Library and Bush School's 20th anniversary," McGrath told the newspaper. "This is the result of that desire."
