Hillary Clinton took a playful swing at Fox on Sunday with a Super Bowl-themed tweet that jabbed the network for its negative coverage of the former secretary of state.
Clinton didn’t elaborate on her message but Twitter users assumed it was in reference to the criticism she took after the conservative network insinuated that she was partly to blame for the fatal 2012 attack on the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.

Fox's coverage of the Benghazi attack came up earlier in the night when President Barack Obama did a pre-Super Bowl sit-down interview with Fox News' Bill O'Reilly.
When asked why he thinks the Benghazi situation keeps popping up, the president responded, "These kinds of things keep on surfacing because you and your TV station will promote them."
Clinton's Super Bowl tweet received more than 54,000 retweets. The former first lady has become something of a Twitter phenom ever since joining the micro-blogging site over the summer.
At that time, her Twitter bio — "Wife, mom, lawyer, women & kids advocate, FLOAR, FLOTUS, US Senator, SecState, author, dog owner, hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, glass ceiling cracker, TBD" — was called perhaps the best of all time.
According to a Washington Post-ABC News poll released last week, Clinton
would beat out all other potential Democratic candidates in a primary for the 2016 election by a whopping 73 percent.
