Hillary Clinton debuted bangs, a new bob, and a brighter hair color at the Jan. 1 swearing-in ceremony for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio in what could be a fresher look for the assumed presidential hopeful.

Social media outlets were taking Clinton's new 'do as a sign she's gearing up for a run at the White House.

It's not the first (and probably not the last) time everybody's buzzing about bangs. A year ago, first lady Michelle Obama’s freshly cut bangs captured attention as she watched President Obama get sworn in for a second term.
