A great white shark taking a bite out of a film crew's inflatable boat is the Internet's latest viral sensation, even though the footage was shot last month.

Nature filmmakers from MaxAnimal Productions uploaded the clip of the "unprovoked attack" to YouTube April 12 and it has since drawn more than 860,000 views.

In the video, shot off the coast of South Africa, a huge great white shark approaches the crew's inflatable boat.

"Why does a rubber inflatable boat sink in the ocean? Because a Great White Shark has just taken a Chunk out of it!" the film crew wrote on YouTube. "Is the scariest part when the shark eyes our folks on the boat? Ah Yeah."

The guys from MaxAnimals were reportedly able to make it back to shore before the boat fully deflated, but they made sure to let viewers know that both the great white and the crew members are fine.

"No, the shark is fine and so is the crew! Everyone made it out."

This isn’t the first great white shark attack to make headlines recently. Last month, an Australian woman swimming on a popular beach was attacked and killed by one.
