Model Paulina Gretzky's appearance on the cover of Golf Digest, which sparked outrage within the golf community, has now been spoofed.
Orlando, Fla.-based photographer Cy Cyr took pictures of some friends to poke fun at the racy Gretzky May cover, which shows the fiancée of pro golfer Dustin Johnson in white yoga pants and a matching sports bra.

Cyr dressed eight of his male friends in the same outfit and sneakers, and had them strike the same pose as Gretzky, complete with golf club.
"Photographer Walter Iooss is my photography idol. His recent Paulina Gretzky golf cover sparked nationwide interest in Golf Digest this week," Cyr wrote on his website
. "And well ... I have a sense of humor and called a few friends."
Cyr later thanked his participants, who included his brother Jeff Cyr, Orlando sports talk radio host "Big Joe" Ellicott, and childhood friend Casey Bourque.
In light of the Gretzky cover, LPGA golfers criticized the publication for ignoring professional women golfers.
"It's frustrating because it's Golf Digest; it's not Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue," World Golf Hall of Famer Juli Inkster told The New York Times
. "I think they should maybe recognize some of the great women golfers that we have. It's like, what do you have to do to get a little respect? I'm guaranteeing you right now, it was not a woman editor who chose that cover."
Golf Digest Jerry Tarde defended the cover.
"Sports figures, celebrities and models have appeared on Golf Digest covers since the magazine's beginning," Tarde told The New York Times. "Paulina ranks at the high end of the golf celebrity scene today, and she has a compelling story to tell."
