"Saturday Night Live" took aim at George Zimmerman over the weekend after the acquitted Trayvon Martin shooter was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at his new girlfriend last week.
It the show's opening sketch, CNN's Piers Morgan (played by "SNL" cast member Taran Killam) interviews Zimmerman's girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe (Kate McKinnon), and asks her what she sees in her new boyfriend.
"I know some people think he's a criminal and guess what? So do I, because he stole my heart," a wacked-out Scheibe says. "Also he pointed a gun at me."

She also reveals that she and her boyfriend often role play, with her dressing up as a French maid and Zimmerman acting as "a man who has every right to defend himself."
When asked if she sees a future with Zimmerman, Scheibe says, "Oh yes, yes. George wants to have a shotgun wedding. And, by that, I mean he's marrying his gun."
Morgan then moves on to interview a Florida police chief (Bobby Moynihan), who has a simple explanation as to why his officers are powerless against Zimmerman:
"Frankly, he has way more guns than us."
Finally, Morgan speaks with Men's Warehouse founder George Zimmer (Mike O'Brien) about the unfortunate similarity between his name and George Zimmerman's.
"I do not like the way he's making me look — I guarantee it," he says. "He's dragging the first two-thirds of my name through the mud. I keep telling people, I'm not George Zimmerman, I'm George Zimmer — man!"
Zimmerman was cleared of murder charges in July when a jury ruled that he shot Trayvon Martin, an unarmed, black teenager, in self-defense. Since then, Zimmerman has had multiple encounters with police.
The latest volatile incident happened last week, when Scheibe and Zimmerman got into an argument (he told police she had "gone crazy on me") that escalated. Scheibe claims Zimmerman pointed a shotgun at her
before barricading himself in her home.
He was arrested, charged with aggravated assault, battery, and criminal mischief, and released on $9,000 bond Tuesday.
Zimmerman was also pulled over in July for speeding on a Texas highway and given a warning. He was issued a speeding ticket in September for going 60 in a 45 mph zone in Lake Mary, Fla.
Later in September, he was accused of pointing a gun at estranged wife Shellie and punching her father in the face during an argument. Shellie Zimmerman later declined to press charges.
Then, in late September, he was pulled over on Florida's Interstate 95 and given a warning for his darkly tinted windows and tag cover.
