Republican Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann said on "Fox News Sunday" it was wrong for the United States to invade Libya and take out Moammar Gadhafi.

"I think it was wrong for the United States to go into Libya," the presidential hopeful said. "Barack Obama said we were going into Libya for humanitarian purposes."

A series of high-powered weapons that remains missing might fall into the wrong hands, she said.

"This is a very bad decision, and it's created more instability in that region, not less," she said.

She said she agreed with Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham that "the world certainly is better off without Ghadafi" but said the uncertainty of the next wave leadership presents an element of danger.

"We don't know who the next leader will be," she said, "It could be a radical element. "We knew who the devil was that was running. We don't know that next one."
