Actress Emma Roberts and boyfriend Evan Peters reportedly got engaged over the holidays and, while there’s been no official announcement, Extra said she’s sporting a ring on her left hand.

Peters apparently gave Roberts, the niece of Julia Roberts, a pink gold and diamond ring over the holidays before the two spent New Year’s in London, Extra said. They both are now filming “American Horror Story: Coven.”

MSN reported that Roberts and Peters will wed this year.

The couple has had a bit of a stormy relationship in the past year. Roberts was taken in by police for domestic abuse after getting in a fight with Peters at a Montreal hotel. Peters had a bloody nose, but didn't press charges. A Roberts representative later said they were “working to move past it.”

The incident went against Roberts’ good-girl image. In the past, she told Nylon magazine, according to MSN, that she believes in happily ever after and that she intended to marry for life.

“I’ve grown up in a business where we’re taught to think that relationships don’t last, and that people are supposed to be married a bunch of times,” Roberts said in the Nylon interview. “But I come from the school of getting married once. ... Everyone kind of rolls their eyes at me, but I still believe in the romantic movie outcome.”

Although neither Roberts or Peters has confirmed the engagement, their “Horror Story” friend Tyler Shields tweeted a congrats, which may just be a confirmation.
