Emily Maynard, the Southern belle who looked for love twice on ABC's "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" reality competition shows, announced this week that she is engaged to boyfriend Tyler Johnson.
Johnson, a 27-year-old management consultant, proposed to Maynard, also 27, on Jan. 4 at her home in Charlotte, N.C., E! Online reported

Johnson reportedly placed candles and flowers all over the house and had help from Maynard's 8-year-old daughter, Ricki.
"We're really excited!" Maynard told Us Weekly.
"He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki and me rings. It was so sweet! Ricki loves him more than she likes me."
Maynard was previously engaged to Ricki's father, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, but he was killed in a plane crash in 2004. Maynard gave birth to their daughter just eight months later.
She then appeared on the 15th season of "The Bachelor" in 2011 where she beat out 25 other women for Brad Womack's affections. The duo was engaged briefly, but split shortly after the show ended.
Maynard then secured her own season of "The Bachelorette" the following year and ended up engaged again to Jef Holm. They announced their breakup in October 2012.
She and Johnson reportedly rekindled an old friendship when they ran into each other at church over the summer, according to E! Online.
Maynard posted a photo on Instagram last week of the happy couple ringing in the New Year.
