Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade took to the cover of Ebony magazine with his two young sons, all three wearing hoodies, to continue to bring attention to Trayvon Martin’s death and its impact on African-American boys and men, Yahoo! Sports reported
Since Martin’s death in March last year, Wade has been vocal about the issue. He tweeted a picture of himself in a hoodie, and among other things, spoke out about why it was important to address Martin’s death.

Wade and his sons were one on one of four featured covers saying “We are Trayvon” that Ebony printed to honor Martin. The Huffington Post said others on the cover were Martin’s family members
, director Spike Lee with his son, and actor Boris Kodjoe and his son. All wore gray hoodies.
The articles to go along with the high-impact photos were interviews with Wade, Kodjoe, and Lee about how they talk about racism with their sons, the Post said. Other articles discussed racial profiling, offered a healing prayer and even a poem by Jill Scott.
Yahoo! said Wade promotes being a responsible father, including writing a book called “Father First” and supporting programs through Wade’s World Foundation.
