Drew Barrymore: Pregnant and Relishing Overindulgence (Video)

Actress Drew Barrymore seems to be embracing overindulgence during her pregnancy, celebrating Sunday's Golden Globes with a loaded pizza after the program.

Barrymore, 38, who is pregnant with her second child with art consultant husband Will Kopelman, posted a photo of herself with a large slice of pizza on Instagram with the caption, "Post Golden globes pregnant pizza after party !!!!! #waitedallnight #canteatfastenough #mulberrypizzarules."

Barrymore told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Monday that she was ignoring doctor's advice and giving in to her pregnancy cravings, according to People magazine.

"I just eat everything I want, which isn't healthy," Barrymore told DeGeneres. "I'm bigger this time than my first time. My doctor the other day was like, 'Yeah, so I think maybe pull back. A little bit.' I was like, really? I thought I was doing great. I still fit into those jeans — they hurt when I wear them — but I still fit into them. I don't ever pose, 'I'm just so fabulous and I lose it like that.' I want to enjoy the pasta right now. What's 10 pounds?"

DeGeneres played along and supported Barrymore in her eating binge, saying that she had to support her growing child.

"When I'm twirling those vegetable pan fried noodles from Chinese takeout later, I'm going to say, 'Ellen said that it was way okay to do that.'"

Barrymore, who was born into an acting family that included grandfather John Barrymore and father John Drew Barrymore, has been in the spotlight since she was seven years old, starring in Steven Spielberg's monster hit "ET" in 1982, according to People.com.

"One day I was a little girl, and the next day I was being mobbed by people who wanted me to sign my autograph or pose for pictures or who just wanted to touch me," Barrymore told People magazine in a previous interview. "I was this 7-year-old who was expected to be going on a mature 29."

Barrymore won her first Golden Globe in 2010 for best lead actress in the television movie for HBO's "Grey Gardens," wrote People.com. She also nabbed a Screen Actors Guild Award for the same movie.
