The Dodge "Hellcat," with its 600 horsepower, supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, and 575-pound-per-foot of torque, is Chrysler Corporation's latest muscle car.
Taking its name from the World War II-era U.S. Navy fighter aircraft, the brand new 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat will be the most powerful Challenger ever, according to Chrysler.
"The new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is the ultimate performance muscle car," said Tim Kuniskis, president and CEO of Dodge, in a statement.

Chrysler has yet to release a price tag for the 2015 Hellcat, however it is expected to exceed that of the 2014 Challenger, which starts at $26,495 for a V6-powered model. The automaker plans to release more details about the much-anticipated muscle car in the coming weeks.
