A tornado sighted near the Denver International Airport caused no damage but stunning photos of the twister quickly made their way around the web.
As sirens went off, passengers took shelter in restrooms, stairwells and other areas for about half an hour
, the Denver Post reported.

A Frontier Airlines spokeswoman reported that passengers onboard planes were evacuated to the terminal.
No damage was reported from the tornado, which was east of the airport.
As soon as the tornado warning ending, images of the tornado and wall cloud were found online, some clearly taken from the airport terminals.
The Weather Channel posted pictures of the tornado
, but also of passengers, faces weary, lining the halls of the airport.

Although the tornado warning has expired, severe storms are still in the area and could produce hail.
Storms swept through parts of the Midwest Tuesday. About 1,300 people in Topeka, Kan., were without power when hail and winds blew through that area. The National Weather Service reported a “slight risk” of severe thunderstorms throughout central and southern portions of the High Plains.
