Democrats obviously are worried about the presidential campaign of former Utah Republican Gov. Jon Huntsman. They started going after him even before President Barack Obama’s former ambassador to China announced his candidacy Tuesday, The Hill reports.

Huntsman has “stolen a playbook from the Romney campaign,” Utah Democratic Party Chairman Wayne Holland said during a conference call with reporters Monday. Huntsman will “launch a political reinvention tour the likes we have not seen” since former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney hosted the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, Holland said.

Democrats contend that Romney has gone back and forth on his policy views from when he headed the Olympics to when he was Massachusetts governor to now, when he started running for president in 2008. Huntsman also has been subjected to Democratic claims that he has changed his policy views from when he was governor of Utah.
