David Beckham was involved in a car accident Friday afternoon outside his Beverly Hills home, but neither Beckham nor his 14-year-old son Brooklyn were injured, according to  the New York Daily News.

The driver of the other vehicle, an unidentified woman, also appeared to be uninjured after the minor head-on collision that tore off the front bumper of the former English soccer pro's $75,000 black Range Rover.

Following the crash, Beckham backed his car into his driveway in an attempt to avoid photos by gathering bystanders.

Beckham's Range Rover Sport was eventually towed away following the car crash.

The other driver was heard telling others at the scene, "You saw it all on camera, right? I wasn't speeding or anything," the New York Daily News noted.

One of the bystanders who managed to take a video of the crash's aftermath was a photographer for the celebrity news site x17online.com.

"I heard this loud sound and it was obviously a crash. It sounded really serious so we drove up the road to see what happened and realized it was Beckham," the photographer said. "The front fender was dragging on the ground, making a scraping noise on the pavement. It was pretty bad."

Beckham returned on foot to the scene of the accident when police arrived.

This is the second car crash Beckham was gotten into in the past few years.

The Independent reported that two years ago Beckham was driving a black SUV while bringing his children to school when he got into the accident. It was more severe than this recent crash; several other drivers involved in the collision were sent to the hospital.

The 38-year-old English-born soccer player, who announced his retirement from the game in May, won a record-breaking 115 caps (awards) for England. The outfielder also earned six Premier League titles and two FA Cups with Manchester United.

Beckham is married to the former Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham, and has achieved worldwide popularity both on and off the field.

He was No. 8 on Forbes magazine’s list of the world’s highest-paid athletes in 2012 with earnings of $46 million. His sponsorships include Adidas AG, PepsiCo Inc. and Giorgio Armani Spa.
