House Democrats are asking the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), which filed a lawsuit against Obamacare, to reveal the donors behind its suit.

The Hill reports that Reps. Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz., and Keith Ellison, D-Minn., are doubting that the NFIB has filed on behalf of small businesses as the organization claims.

Grijalva and Ellison, co-chairs of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, say conservative operatives and "large corporate interests that do not speak for the American people" are really behind the suit.

Grijalva and Ellison also questioned a $3.7 million grant the NFIB received  from the super PAC Crossroads GPS, which Karl Rove advises.

"This financial support from Crossroads GPS raises serious questions that small-business owners, Congress, the Supreme Court, and the American public deserve to have answered before the court rules on the challenge to the Affordable Care Act," Grijalva and Ellison wrote in a letter to NFIB President Dan Danner, according to The Hill.
