Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend were apparently goofing around when he appeared to be strangling her on camera as she wished fans a Merry Christmas, but the model removed the video from Instagram after fans expressed concern.

The Daily Mail called Teigen's video “in bad taste,” and apparently she realized the error of her ways since it was pulled quickly. But she’s not always a model of decorum on her Instagram account and followers probably expect a little drama/humor/bad taste.

While Teigen and Legend’s idea of a Christmas wish may come off a little odd, other stars also took a chance on the holiday to post to fans. JWoww announced her pregnancy while Rihanna posted some intimate photos of herself in racy red lingerie.

Rihanna’s Instagram post said it was a pajama Christmas party, and the blue and silver decorated tree in behind her backed up the story. Along with her fun and sexy photos, Rihanna showed off her antler headband and Christmas pics with family in Barbados.

Whatever happened to a good old-fashioned Christmas card?
