Bryan Cranston Heisenberg Mask at Comic-Con Fools Everyone

Tuesday, 23 Jul 2013 07:48 AM

By Alexandra Ward

"Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston blended right in with the crowd at Comic-Con in San Diego Sunday when he donned a mask of "Heisenberg," Walter White’s alter ego on the AMC hit show and walked around the convention undetected as his Emmy Award-winning character.

Cranston, 57, was even able to talk with unsuspecting fans by disguising his voice. Because so many people attend Comic-Con dressed in costume, the actor fit right in.

Cranston unveiled his disguise at the "Breaking Bad" panel, where the actors and creators of the critically acclaimed AMC drama gathered to reflect on the past five seasons.

"When the panel was being introduced, it looked like Cranston, the show’s star, would be joining the panel in full make-up, exactly like his character Walter White," U-T San Diego wrote. "But minutes later, he pulled off his glasses and peeled back a professional quality mask to reveal his own face, without glasses and with a short buzz cut."

The second half of the final season of "Breaking Bad" will premiere August 11 on AMC.
