A shooting occurred just before 1 a.m. Tuesday morning in the upscale Jersey Shore town of Brielle, leaving one woman in critical but stable condition, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor spokesman Charles Webster.

The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Sand Bar restaurant.

The victim, a 35-year-old whose name was not released, was shot once, Webster said.

News 12 New Jersey reported that witnesses said she is a Sand Bar employee.

No arrests have been made.
