“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville put a designer shoe-clad foot in her mouth on a recent show when she made a racist comment about black people not being able to swim.
The opinionated former model and reality star got drunk during a shooting of a "Real Housewives" episode that aired Dec. 9, and when co-star Joyce Giraud said she couldn’t swim, Glanville answered, “You’re black.”

When total silence engulfed the gathering, Glanville leaped to explain her comment, saying, “It was a joke and my black friends would’ve laughed crazy, ‘cause they don’t go in the pool because they will get their weave f—ed up. ... All my black friends can’t swim. Is that bad?”
Glanville apologized for her comments after fans took her to task.
“I know what I said was definitely in appropriate, but I say a lot of inappropriate things. It was definitely not sensitive and I apologize to anyone I offended,” Glanville told the Bravo show "Watch What Happens Live!"
. “But to be honest with you, my friends and I joke with each other this way and they’re from all different backgrounds. I’m sorry. I guess TV’s not ready for the real Brandi. Should I censor myself? Would that be exciting?”
When Cohen pushed her on whether she considered the comment racist, Glanville said, “I’m the least racist person of all time.”
Whether or not she’s racist, opinions online were pretty definite that her mouth is getting her in trouble — again.
