Police have released surveillance photos of the three men wanted for allegedly stealing $200,000 in Rolex watches Monday night in a "smash-and-grab" robbery at the Borgata casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

It was initially reported that the suspects made off with $500,000 in merchandise from Borgata Jewels, a jewelry store inside the casino, but police amended that original amount Tuesday, MyFOXPhilly.com reported.

The tapes show the burglary suspects smashing the display cases in the store, stealing three Rolexes, and hurriedly escaping in a waiting dark-colored vehicle with no visible license plates around 8:45 p.m. Monday.

No one was injured in the robbery and the suspects weren’t believed to have been armed, police said. One of the men was dressed in a blue jacket, another was in a gray hooded sweatshirt, and the third was in a dark-colored jacket. A fourth person, the getaway driver, is also wanted.

These "smash-and-grab" type crimes are increasingly common, accounting for 82.6 percent of the total number of jewelry industry burglaries, according to the Jewelers' Security Alliance.

The Borgata boasts 11 retail shops, 2,000 guest rooms and suites, nearly 200 gambling tables, and more than 3,400 slot machines.

It was in the middle of its 10th anniversary celebration Monday night. The Borgata, which opened in July 2003 as the first new casino in Atlantic City in 13 years, is one of the resort town's most popular venues.

"The reason we come here is because it's reminiscent of everything Las Vegas is like, and we love Vegas," Borgata patron Anthony Corso of New York City told The Associated Press last week. "It's very clean, very accommodating, the dealers are really friendly. It has a refreshing atmosphere compared with many of the Boardwalk casinos. It's just enticing here."
