Irwin has posted photos of her and Lancaster on her Instagram account.

The CourierMail.com reported that Lancaster deleted his own Instagram account after a women's magazine reported his relationship with Irwin.

Lancaster wrote under one of his Instagram photos of him and Bindi Irwin, according to the CourierMail.com, "Mine. Back off boys. Getting pretty jelly" (jealous)." The website said two days later, Lancaster added: "Also back off boys she's #mine" and when asked if they were dating, responded, "You betcha buddy. Dating it up date style."

Bindi Irwin's father Steve Irwin was a huge Australian television personality and conservationist who had also come to popularity in the United States as the "Crocodile Hunter." He died in 2006 when he was killed by a stingray while filming off the Great Barrier Reef.

Steve Irwin was widely criticized in 2004 for feeding a snapping crocodile inside a pen while holding his infant son, Bob, in one arm.
