A video featuring Bane Cat, a feline dressed up as Batman's arch nemesis from DC Comics and the 2012 movie "The Dark Knight Rises," has gone viral and will be made into a series, the producer promised on YouTube.
The video had more than 2.3 million views on YouTube
as of Monday with 1,756 comments.
The video opens with the owner trying to take his dog Spike to the vet when his cat, Peanut, appears dressed as Bane Cat. The voice of the cat, which sounds like actor Tom Hardy's Bane character, quotes lines from "The Dark Knight Rises" as it smashes plates and dumps its toys on the floor.

The owner posts a flyer trying to sale Bane Cat. With the "Super Friendly" headline, the flyer goes on the say "Loves children, loves food, respirator mask does not come off. Might be loud, annoying, dangerous and controlling. Oh, and he talks."
At the end of the video, Bane Cat opens the door with the "for sale" flyer underneath his paw. He finds his owner at the computer and says: "We both know I'm going to have to kill you now."
A Bane Cat Facebook page
was set up Sunday and had 575 likes as of Monday.
"This is now a series since it was highly requested," posted Robs Rants, who has made numerous other sketch comedy videos on the web, on Bane Cat's comment section. "Subscribe and thanks so much guys."
"Nobody could ever say what goes through a cat's mind, but if there's one type of animal scheming to take over the world (or at least the house), it's probably a cat," Sarah Barness, of the Huffington Post wrote about the video. "Well, Bane Cat is here to rule. Dun dun dunnn! There is no hiding from Bane Cat – he is always watching you."
The 2012 hit summer movie was the third in a Batman trilogy featuring Academy Award-winner Christian Bale as Batman. Hardy played Bane in the final movie along with Oscar-winner Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Marion Cotillard and Talia al Ghul/Maranda Tate.
"The Dark Knight Rises" went on to make more than $1 billion at the box office, with $448.1 million made in the United States and another $636.3 million raked in overseas, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com
