Missing teenager Ayvani Hope Perez has been found alive and in good condition, one day after she was abducted during a home invasion, according to Atlanta's Channel 2 Action News.

Clayton County police Chief Greg Porter confirmed to the station that Perez is with her family.

One suspect, identified by Channel 2 as Wildrego Jackson, has been arrested, and a second person was being held. The FBI is still seeking information regarding additional suspects.

The suspects were captured "through hard core police work," Porter said, according to Channel 2. "I want to thank the community as a whole for supporting the Clayton County Police Department and all the collaborations between the agencies.

On Tuesday, Perez's abductors reportedly demanded a ransom payment of $10,000.

Perez, 14, was taken by thieves during an apparent random home invasion early Tuesday morning, after they were told by the owners that there was no money or jewelry. The robbers also killed the family dog, Atlanta police told reporters.

Last month, 16-year-old kidnapping victim Hannah Anderson was rescued in Idaho after a weeklong search. She was freed from her captor, James Lee DiMaggio, who was killed in a shootout during the rescue at a remote, alpine lake.
