Though he may have just played Apple CEO Steve Jobs on the big screen, Ashton Kutcher announced Tuesday that he has signed on as the newest product engineer for the world's biggest PC manufacturer, Lenovo Group.
Kutcher, who has helped with a handful of tech startups and is co-founder of the venture capital fund A-Grade Investments, will be working to revamp Lenovo's Yoga line of tablet computers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"This partnership with Lenovo brings together my love of technology and design that makes your life better," Kutcher said Tuesday at a launch event at the YouTube Space LA. "I can't wait to dig in and help Lenovo develop future mobile computing products, starting with the Yoga Tablet."
The "Two and a Half Men" star was brought in to help overhaul the Chinese company's tablets, which chief marketing officer David Roman says haven't changed since they were first introduced a few years back.
"Surprisingly with so much transformation and so much change in our business, there's one device that has changed very little. In fact, the tablet is the same physical format today that it was when it was first introduced," Roman said at the launch event.

"To introduce this type of change in this sea of sameness, it helps to have someone who's passionate about innovations, someone who's ready to challenge the status quo, someone who understands technology, embraces new ideas fearlessly, and is personally committed to coming up with a better way of doing things."
