Evidence is starting to pile up on various technology websites that Apple may launch its next version of the iPhone, assumingly called "iPhone 6," earlier than previously expected – possibly as soon as September.
that analyst Brian White of Cantor Fitzgerald is predicting that at least one version of the new iPhone could out at that time.
"Our research at Computex highlights that the majority of the accessory makers we interacted with today have already begun production in support of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6," White wrote to clients Wednesday, according to BGR.com. "During our China/Taiwan Tech Tour in April, we met with a small number of accessory makers that had started initial production of accessories for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 but not the 5.5-inch version, but today’s research highlights a much broader ramp of the 4.7-inch version."

White added, according to BGR.com, that some Apple vendors were already working on accessories for the bigger screen iPhone 6 and were showing them.
"Given the lack of data points in recent months around progress with the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 and growing skepticism in the media around a 2014 launch, we view this as a positive development. Based on today's research, we believe the timing of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 launch appears to be in sync with our expectation around the unveiling (i.e., September) of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6."
Chris Martin, of PC Advisor
, wrote this week that he's taking a clue from Apple's employee schedules about the possible debut date for the iPhone 6.
"A recent iPhone 6 release date rumour to arrive, and one that we think is probably true, is that Apple employees have been told that they are not able to take some specific dates in September as holiday," Martin wrote. "That's usually a sign that something big is coming on those days, so we're fully expecting it'll be the iPhone 6."
Xiomara Blanco, of CNET Review
, said in April that while Apple has not tipped its hand much, most other analysts seem to be on board for a fall release if the iPhone 6, if Apple decided to name it that.
"Apple hasn't even confirmed it's even working on a new iPhone, let alone what it will be called, but following the pattern the company has used to name its previous phones, we are guessing it will be dubbed the iPhone 6," Blanco wrote.
