said Thursday that he has no problem disclosing his finances as required by law if he runs for the Republican presidential nomination, Fox News reported Friday.
"I will actually be filing financial reports, as you have to if you run for this very high office," Trump said.
Presidential candidates are required by federal law to declare the details of all their finances within 30 days of making their candidacy official. Trump has indicated that he will decide before June whether to run.
"We are going to file all of the requisite papers. I think people will be very surprised, on the upside," he said.
The billionaire business mogul said he’s not worried about reporters digging into his past for items that haven't already made headlines.
"I look forward to that, I mean, I really look forward to that because I have a great company,” he said. “It's an unbelievable company. Lots of cash. Lots of success."
