An obsessed Osama bin Laden tried to figure out how to assassinate President Barack Obama. That's one of many revelations that U.S. officials have gleaned from the trove of data confiscated during the raid by Navy SEALs that claimed the al-Qaida leader's life, ABC News reports.

The officials, who are analyzing a million pages of information from bin Laden's Pakistan compound, say they've learned more in the last 10 days than in the previous 10 years.

Bin Laden's writings, seized from the hideout, show that he urged followers to kill President Obama as well as determine how to disrupt America's 2012 political elections.

"I would say this is probably very personal on bin Laden's part — to kill a president that he believes has violated the Muslim faith," Brad Garrett, an ABC News consultant and former FBI profiler, said.

"He was incensed, inflamed, obsessed about killing the president," Garrett added.

The footage of bin Laden watching television in the compound shows him abruptly changing the channel whenever President Obama came on the screen.
