In the past much of Republicans’ ire when it comes to executive agencies has been directed at the Environmental Protection Agency and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. But now the GOP is taking aim at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), The Hill reports.
That’s because last month the NLRB accused Boeing of retaliating against unionized workers in Washington state by building a production plant for its new Dreamliner plane in the right-to-work state of South Carolina.
The NLRB’s complaint is “unprecedented,” Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said.
“These are regulatory decisions that affect specific businesses. This complaint affects the fundamentals of how you make a business decision," Graham continued.
"This affects the ability to allocate capital, make business decisions based on merit. It affects the heart and soul of capitalism.”
