From his visit to Tampa, the former Massachusetts governor has statements of support from Reps. Tom Rooney, Ander Crenshaw, and Connie Mack in addition to state Sen. John Thrasher. Some of them already had pledged their backing for Romney.

During his stop in Georgia, Romney will receive the endorsement of state Attorney General Sam Olens, who is hosting a fundraising event for the candidate.

“Mitt Romney has a proven record of creating jobs, balancing budgets, and cutting taxes," Olens said in a statement.

"He has the needed experience to lead the country out of this economic downturn.”
