More than 100 Minnesota government and political leaders announced  their endorsement of Gov. Tim Pawlenty for President, reports Pawlenty's campaign website.

The list of supporters includes state legislators and other local Republican leaders.

“For the last eight years, I did more than just talk about moving Minnesota in a conservative direction —  actually did it,” Gov. Pawlenty said. “I’m humbled by this strong showing of support from so many conservative leaders from around Minnesota.”

Gov. Pawlenty called the surge of support “a real validation of our record of delivering conservative results.”
