Meghan McCain doesn’t expect fair treatment from liberal Hollywood actors in their portrayal of her father Sen. John McCain in an HBO miniseries about his run for president in 2008.

meghan, mccain, miniseriesThe miniseries is based on the book Game Change, the infamous bestseller written by John Heileman and Mark Halperin, which has plagued everyone associated with the 2008 election cycle, she wrote in the Daily Beast.

“From everything I understood, the interviews that they did land were from disgruntled staffers, rehashing for the most part stories they had not directly witnessed themselves,” McCain said.

Some of the anecdotes in the book she called bizarre, including one about Elizabeth Edwards bearing her scars from her battle with breast cancer in a parking lot after discovering her husband’s affair.

“I expect my family and Sarah Palin to be nothing short of crucified,” McCain said. “Another election is nearing and President Obama has publicly fallen from his stature as an infallible saint. It is in everyone’s best interest to exaggerate and manifest things that didn’t happen.”
