Hill Focus Will Quickly Return to Domestic Spats

Most Americans were heartened by the surge of bipartisanship in Washington after Osama bin Laden’s death. But don’t expect that cooperation to last long. Domestic politics already is back with a vengeance,  Politico reports. Congressmen from both parties promise to push conflicting legislation on spending and taxes.

Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., told Politico. “But I’m not optimistic about that.”
