The administration has stonewalled Congress in its attempt to obtain documents relating to Solyndra and other energy companies that received federal loans, Sean Hannity said on his radio show today.

“He said he’d be transparent,” Hannity said of President Barack Obama. “And now, he’s putting up the biggest roadblocks to an investigation that would show that his crony, socialist pals benefited from raising money for him.”

Hannity said a total of $35 billion has been “wasted and poured down the drain for this phony energy scam of Obama.”

“Can you imagine what you could do with $35 billion?” he asked. “This runs so deep within the administration that, in other words, like Solyndra [and] all these other companies — a total of $35 billion — you’ve got bundlers, one after the other, who raised money for Obama’s campaign.”

Hannity scoffed at the $6 billion federal-aid request by Freddie Mac after reported losses of the same amount in the third quarter of this year. “After causing the collapse of the housing market…,” he said.

He said the media have been so focused on the Herman Cain scandal that the approval of nearly $13 million in bonuses for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae executives sailed under the radar.

“If anybody in the private sector made the types of tens of millions that these executives made at Fannie and Freddie…there would be an investigation into seeing whether or not there’s fraud,” he said. “But not in government.”
