Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who still hasn’t ruled out a second run for the White House, plans to visit the first-in-the-nation primary state early next month. A top Granite State political operative said Giuliani received a warm reception during his first visit to the state in May, encouraging him to return, the New Hampshire Union Leader reported Tuesday.

guiliani, new, hampshireWayne Semprini, the former state GOP chairman who headed Giuliani's New Hampshire campaign during the 2008 presidential primary, told the newspaper that Giuliani has yet to finalize his schedule for his visit, but tentative plans call for a fundraiser to benefit the state GOP.

Even though he’s visiting around the same time as the June 13 New Hampshire presidential primary debate, Giuliani has no plans to participate in it, Semprini said.

"He has other obligations," Semprini said, "and he's not going to be a candidate by then, anyway."

But Semprini said Giuliani continues to weigh whether to make a second bid for the GOP presidential nod.

"He is certainly keeping his eye on the process," Semprini said.
