Rep. Michele Bachmann says former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty brought “a very important voice to the race,” but she won’t say if she will seek his endorsement, according to Politico.

“I’ll be calling him today to wish him well," Bachmann said of Pawlenty Sunday on NBC's “Meet the Press.” “He brought a very important voice to the race — I have a lot of respect for the governor — I know the governor, we’ve known each other many years, and I am grateful he was in.”

Bachmann and Pawlenty repeatedly attacked each other prior to the Minnesota congresswoman’s Saturday Iowa Straw Poll win.

When asked about Texas Gov. Rick Perry's entry into the race, Bachmann said Perry “would run his campaign, and we’ll run ours. We really look forward to that.”
