Talk about a political family dynasty: another son of Texas Rep. Ron Paul is considering a bid for the Senate, Politico reports.

robertt paul texas senateRand Paul already won his senate race in Kentucky last year. And now Robert Paul, a doctor who lives in Fort Worth, tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that he has “thought about running” for the Texas seat being vacated by Republican Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison. But Paul says he’s not sure. “I am very happy as a physician,” he said.

Like his father and brother, Robert Paul is very worried about the government’s exploding budget deficits. “I have a lot of concern about the debt,” he said. Speculation started about a run by the younger Paul as soon as Hutchison announced her retirement.

Ron Paul has five children.
