'The Onion' on Obama: Satire or Truth?

To the casual observer, the headline might not have even merited a raised eyebrow: “Obama Begins Inauguration Festivities With Ceremonial Drone Flyover.”
 
It was, of course, from The Onion, the satirical media outlet that cleverly satirizes the news of the day.
 
Yet at a time when the Obama administration’s “secret” drone war has become a hallmark of his foreign policy, it seemed entirely plausible.
