Meghan McCain says she's about fed up with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who many Republicans believe has a shot at the presidency in 2016.
Speaking on CNN’s Piers Morgan Live Monday night, the 28-year-old daughter of 2008 GOP presidential nominee Sen. John McCain said Christie is more interested in pushing his own agenda than in supporting his party.

"I used to love Christie. I’m kind of done with Chris Christie right now," McCain told Morgan. "I think politicians, obviously, there’s some level of self-promotion that you have to do. But I would like the next leader of the Republican Party, and the next nominee, to maybe be a little more interested in helping the country than just their platform."
McCain pointed to Christie’s speech at the Republican Nation Convention in Tampa last summer, saying, "All he did was talk about himself the entire time."
It’s not the first time McCain has slammed Christie. In an interview with Politico
earlier this month, she said, "I have, like, Chris Christie fatigue right now. He’s not quite as much of a bad ass and formidable candidate as I once thought he was."
McCain, an author and Internet blogger is also the host of “Raising McCain,” a documentary-style talk show
on Pivot, a new cable network targeting viewers ranging in age from 15 to 34.
McCain is no stranger to stirring up controversy on TV. In January 2011, she described Rep. Michele Bachmann as a "poor man’s Sarah Palin" during an appearance on MSNBC’s "The Last Word."
